A lot of UX design till-date has focused on helping users find what they're looking for through clear navigation, search, etc. What I like to refer to as "search and find". But as social media and other platforms emphasize discovery, users seem more likely to come across content organically than by actively searching for it.

"Discoverable UX" is becoming increasingly important as users are more likely to come across content organically than by actively searching for it - due in part to the rise of social media and other platforms emphasizing discovery.

TikTok, Instagram, and The Washington Post are just a few examples I immediately think of - in terms of Discoverable UX. This was highlighted to me in the panel I hosted at #DigiMarCon last week with Neal Sivadas 👋 .
